Timely-registered marriage events near one thousand
Oriental Mindoro registered nearly a thousand marriages in the months of April to June 2021. The figure is 845 marriages more than the total count of 153 marriages in the 2nd quarter of 2020. The COVID outbreak caused the number of marriages to plunge in 2020.

The month of May had the biggest number with 369 compared to the same month a year ago with 47.

The least number of marriages registered in the second quarter of 2021 was in San Teodoro and Puerto Galera with 11 and 29, in that order.
