MIMAROPA Region registers Gross Capital Formation as fastest growing expenditure item in 2019

Gross capital formation posted the fastest growth rate at 19.8 percent for the MIMAROPA region in 2019. It was followed by imports of goods and services, at 12.8 percent. The two slowest growth rates were government final consumption expenditure and exports of goods and services, recorded at 3.9 percent and -3.4 percent, respectively.

Summary Inflation Report Consumer Price Index (2012=100) of MIMAROPA: October 2020

The headline inflation rate at the regional level slightly grew slower to 3.0 percent in October 2020. During the previous month, the year-on-year change was higher at 3.2 percent. In the same period of the previous year, it was posted at 1.1 percent. The downtrend of inflation in October 2020 was driven by the combined deceleration of selected commodity groups, mainly the heavily-weighted food and non-alcoholic beverages.
