Meanwhile, the inflation in MIMAROPA also accelerated, from 5.7 percent in July to 6.1 percent in August 2023. In August 2022, the inflation rate in the region was 7.1 percent. In June 2023, inflation in Occidental Mindoro retained at 7.5 percent from 7.5 percent in May 2023, which is higher than the inflation rate of 5.2 percent in June 2022. Similarly, inflation in MIMAROPA remained unchanged from May to June 2023, with 7.2 percent. In May 2022, the inflation rate in the region was 5.9 percent. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Occidental Mindoro will conduct the June 2023 Labor Force Survey (LFS) across the province. This is in accordance with the PSA Board Resolution No. 08, Series of 2020, APPROVING THE CONDUCT OF THE MONTHLY LABOR FORCE SURVEY AND THE GENERATION OF THE MONTHLY LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT STATISTICS.
