31 March 2025 - CALAPAN CITY, ORIENTAL MINDORO. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Oriental Mindoro reports that the three causes of deaths in the province of Oriental Mindoro for the year 2023 among women were Acute myocardial infarction, Pneumonia, organism unspecified, and malignant neoplasm of breast.

Acute myocardial infarction was the leading cause of death with 214 cases accounting for 8.7 percent of the total deaths provincewide. Pneumonia, organism unspecified followed as the second leading cause with 161 deaths representing 6.5 percent of the total. Malignant neoplasm of breast ranked third with 86 recorded cases constituting 3.5 percent of the total deaths.
