The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Service Office (RSSO) MIMAROPA announces the conduct of the 35th National Statistics Month (NSM) Closing Ceremony which will be held on 28 October 2024. The 35th NSM celebration carries the theme “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation” which highlights the significant role of technology in advancing the statistical system and the quality of statistics through the adoption of digital tools and platforms optimizing government services to improve the accuracy, timeliness and accessibility of statistics. Ultimately, enabling decision- and policy-makers, and other stakeholders to craft evidence-based and data-driven policies for an empowered nation.

The gathering serves as a platform to promote, enhance and instill awareness and appreciation of the importance and value of statistics to the different sectors of society and to elicit cooperation and support of the general public in upgrading the quality and standards of statistics in the country.

As part of the ceremony, most responsive agencies on PSA-initiated activities together with the winners of various 35th NSM contests will be awarded.
