13 JUNE 2024 – BARANGAY INO, MOGPOG, MARINDUQUE. PSA Marinduque PSO, in partnership with LCRO Mogpog, successfully completed Mobile Registration on BRAP in Barangay Ino, Mogpog, Marinduque on 13 June 2024. BRC Shiela Mae D. Matining, together with Mogpog LCRO Virginia M. Sartillo and staff, were present to provide services and to register individuals who do not have records in the PSA database. Before the registration process, a short information dissemination regarding Civil Registration was provided by MCR Sartillo. In addition, BRC Matining gave a short overview regarding the process of delayed registration thru BRAP. COLBs of eight individuals were prepared after they completed the necessary requirements for delayed registration process.
Another service was also delivered to the residents of the said barangay - catering requests for PSA copies of civil registry documents through the Mogpog BREQS outlet. Some of the registrants were born outside the province, hence, their documents will be forwarded and processed by the concerned PSO/LCRO for the subsequent registration.
This undertaking is a joint project of PSA Marinduque, PSA RSSO-MIMAROPA and Mogpog LGU. This project aims to increase the level of civil registration especially in marginalized communities such as those belonging to the Indigenous Peoples group, Muslim Filipinos, and the poorest sector in the country and ensuring that they have their PhilIDs issued paving the gateway for them to claim their social benefits and legal identities.
