During the first quarter of 2024, cassava production in Palawan was estimated at 1,645.93 metric tons, which indicates a decline of 14.7 percent from the 1,929.65 metric tons output in the same quarter of 2023.

Sweet Potato (Camote)

The sweet potato production in Palawan for the first quarter of 2024 was registered at 1,179.78 metric tons. This indicates a decline of 12.1 percent from the 1,341.88 metric tons output in same period last year.

Taro (Gabi)

The production of taro (gabi) in the province in the first quarter of 2024 was registered at 301.75 metric tons, which indicates a decline of 2.4 percent from the 309.12 metric tons output during the first quarter of 2023.

Eggplant

The eggplant production in Palawan during the reference period was estimated at 441.07 metric tons, which indicates an increase of 2.0 percent from the 432.41 metric tons output in the first quarter of 2023.

Peanut

In the first quarter of 2024, peanut production in the province was estimated at 207.52 metric tons, which indicates a decline of 4.6 percent from 217.45 metric tons production in the first quarter of last year.

Swamp Cabbage (Kangkong) 

Production of swamp cabbage (kangkong) in the first quarter of 2024 in Palawan was registered at 162.62 metric tons. This represents a decline of 19.1 percent from the 201.05 metric tons production during the first quarter of 2023.

Tomato

The first quarter 2024 tomato production in the province was estimated at 129.62 metric tons, indicating an increase of 2.7 percent from the 126.27 metric tons output the first quarter of 2023.

Stringbeans (Sitao)

During the first quarter of 2024, stringbeans (sitao) production in Palawan was estimated at 120.98 metric tons, which indicates a decline of 6.7 percent from the 129.65 metric tons output in the same quarter of 2023.
