28 JULY 2025 – LIBAS, BUENAVISTA, MARINDUQUE. On 28 July 2025, PSA PSO Marinduque, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Buenavista and the Buenavista Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO), successfully completed Mobile Registration Services event in Barangay Libas, Buenavista, Marinduque. The event was held at the barangay hall, providing convenient access for residents.

BRC Shiela Mae D. Matining, along with Buenavista LCRO staff Jonah Perdigon, efficiently facilitated the preparation of birth certificates for individuals whose records were not found in the PSA database. Their efforts were complemented by Barangay Secretary Leizel Regis, who played a crucial role by issuing the required Barangay Certification and Certificate of Indigency, an essential document for processing delayed birth registrations.

In addition, National ID personnel RKO Arthur Llamera and RA Mark Paul Mascareñas provided valuable assistance by helping residents with National ID registration and distributing printed copies of the National ID.

The mobile registration activity offered a convenient and accessible venue for residents to process vital civil documents, eliminating the need for long-distance travel. This collaborative initiative underscored a shared commitment to civic engagement, ensuring that essential services reach even the most remote communities. It also empowered residents by making civil registration more inclusive and accessible.
