Occidental Mindoro’s declared champion on the 26th Philippine Statistics Quiz- Regional Elimination, Mr. Rhush B. Necessito will be the regional representative of MIMAROPA region and will compete for the 26th PSQ- National Finals on 06 December 2022 at Century Park Hotel, Metro Manila.

On 05 December 2022, Mr. Rhush B. Necessito, together with his coach, Christian P. Macatol, Ms. Maribel L. Bernardo Ph.D., the Chief Statistical Specialist of Philippine Statistical Office of Occidental Mindoro and Regional Director Leni R. Rioflorido of RSSO MIMAROPA attended the briefing and welcome banquet hosted by Philippine Statistics Authority for the regional winners who will compete for the search for the country’s young statistics whizzes.

DATE Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) is a nationwide annual contest designed to test the knowledge of statistics of freshman students enrolled in colleges and universities in the 17 regions of the country. It is open to all Filipino first-time college freshmen currently enrolled for the school year 2022-2023 in any recognized tertiary academic institution in the country. The Provincial Statistical Office of Occidental Mindoro enjoins all stakeholders, state universities and colleges across the MIMAROPA region to support our regional representative as he challenged the other regional representatives across the country for the national championship, through a live telecast at www.psa.gov.ph/events/psq/.
