13 September 2024 –BOAC, MARINDUQUE.  As part of the celebration of the 11th PSA anniversary, the PSA Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) Marinduque held a vibrant Sports Fest and Team Building Activities at AML Resorts in Poras, Boac, Marinduque, on September 13, 2024. This event aimed to strengthen team cohesion and celebrate the agency’s achievements in a dynamic and engaging setting.

The event began with opening remarks from Supervising Statistical Specialist Mr. Orlando Mercene, who emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving the PSA's goals. He highlighted the significant milestones reached over the past year and expressed his appreciation for the hard work and dedication of every team member.

Following the inspiring speech, the participants eagerly engaged in a series of sports activities. The morning kicked off with board games, where teams competed in chess, Scrabble, and Jengga, showcasing their strategic thinking and camaraderie. The friendly rivalries and laughter set a positive tone for the day.

After the board games, the participants moved on to more physically demanding activities where it tested the strength and teamwork of each group, resulting in a thrilling display of determination and unity.

The day concluded with an awarding ceremony to recognize outstanding performers and teams. Senior Statistical Specialist Ms. Imelda M. Miciano presented simple tokens of appreciation, commending the participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the day.

In her closing remarks, SrSS Miciano reiterated the significance of such gatherings in fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. She thanked everyone for their participation and dedication to the PSA’s mission, emphasizing how these events contribute to a supportive and effective team environment.

As the event wrapped up, participants left with a renewed sense of accomplishment and energy, ready to apply the positive experiences and strengthened connections to their professional roles.
