The month of February every year is observed as Civil Registration Month pursuant to Proclamation 682 affirmed by former President Corazon C. Aquino on the 28th of January 1991. The celebration aims to remind the citizenry of their duties to register acts and events concerning status of persons and enhance nationwide awareness and appreciation of the legal, administrative, and statistical values of civil registry documents.

The Philippine Statistics Authority will spearhead the said celebration with this year’s theme “CRVS: The Future of Seamless Services”. PSA Marinduque Provincial Office, together with the Local Civil Registry Office of the six (6) municipalities, is gearing upfor the said celebration.

The month-long celebration will highlight different activities such as display of streamer,information dissemination campaign, social responsibility activities (gift-giving), mobile registration, civil registration quiz, trainings and release/publication of information, education and communication materials (IEC).
