18 JULY 2025 – MOGPOG, MARINDUQUE. On 18 July 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO), in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Mogpog and through the initiative of the Mogpog Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO), successfully conducted Mobile Registration Services in the barangays of Magapua and Malusak. The activity was held at the respective barangay halls, providing residents with convenient access to vital civil registration services.

Before the registration began, Hannah Ditan of the Mogpog LCRO conducted an informative session on Civil Registration Laws.

She addressed key topics and answered questions from attendees regarding various civil registry concerns. She was supported by BRC Shiela Mae Matining, who gave a comprehensive explanation of the documentary requirements and procedures for delayed registration under BRAP. Additionally, AOI Timothy Dequito informed residents about the process of requesting PSA-issued civil registry documents, including applicable fees, through the Mogpog Batch Request System (BREQS).

During the activity, registrants successfully completed the requirements for delayed registration, with their Certificates of Live Birth (COLBs) prepared and processed on-site. The team also identified several potential BRAP beneficiaries, whose eligibility will be verified through the PSA database. The mobile registration services likewise facilitated the acceptance of requests for civil registry documents via Mogpog BREQS, further enhancing service delivery in the area. As part of the Gender and Development (GAD) Fund initiative, the LCRO Mogpog also began the free distribution of PSA-issued birth certificates to senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) during the event.

The success of this mobile registration activity underscores the ongoing collaboration between PSA, LGU Mogpog, and other stakeholders in expanding access to essential civil registration services and the National ID system. This joint effort continues to strengthen the government's commitment to inclusive and accessible public service delivery.
