Started in 2022, one of the major programs of the PSA is the implementation of the PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project (now BRAP) in the country to ensure that all births of Filipinos are registered in the Local Civil Registry Offices and that they will be enrolled with the Philippine National Identification System. This undertaking is a joint project of PSA Marinduque, PSA RSSO-MIMAROPA and Gasan LGU. As of 2023, 258 target beneficiaries were allotted to be registered in the Municipality of Gasan. Hence, PSA Marinduque, together with LCRO of Gasan, conducts Mobile Registration activities in various barangays of Gasan to ensure that all unregistered births will be registered to the concerned PSO/LCRO.
