8 March 2024 – ROMBLON, ROMBLON. As part of the celebration of the 34th Civil Registration Month with a theme “CRVS: The Future of Seamless Services”,  Philippine Statistics Authority Romblon Statistical Office conducted activities that will highlight the importance of civil registration to everyone. 

PSA Romblon Provincial Statistical Office concluded its 34th CRM Celebration at Brgy. Li-o Covered Court, Romblon, Romblon last February 29, 2024. Several activities highlighted the closing ceremony. Information Dissemination of Civil Registration Laws and Updates to students, teachers, constituents and officials of the said barangay was conducted by Engr. Johnny Solis, the Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Romblon. The participants of the information drive were also subjected to a Civil Registration Quiz that served as the highlight of the activity.

During his message, CSS Solis emphasized that PSA will continue promote activities that will make its services closer to the people. He enjoined the local officials to continue supporting the programs and projects of the PSA that was aimed at delivering relevant and reliable statistics, efficient civil registration services and inclusive identification system.

Included in the activities conducted are mobile acceptance of requests for civil registry documents, mobile civil registration consultation, civil registration exhibit, and free hair cut. Constituents and officials of the said barangay expressed appreciation for PSA for chosing them as the location of the closing activities and benefited from its services.
