06 FEBRUARY 2025 - CAJIDIOCAN, ROMBLON. The first awarding of SECPA Birth Certificates to BRAP beneficiaries was successfully conducted in the municipality of Cajidiocan by the Philippine Statistical Authority-Romblon Provincial Statistical Office, in collaboration with Cajidiocan Local Civil Registry Office, as part of the 35th Civil Registration Month celebration with a theme “𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘈𝘨𝘪𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦-𝘧𝘪𝘵 𝘊𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘭 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘝𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴 𝘚𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮”.

PSA Romblon Chief Statistical Specialist Engr. Johnny F. Solis, Registration Officer II Ms. Maria Cristina M. Uy, Registration Officer I Engr. Mariel V. Fallarcuna and OIC-Municipal Civil Registrar of Cajidiocan Ms. Christine Jayne Gutierrez, spearheaded the conduct of the event.

On 05 February 2025, the activity was held at Cajidiocan Covered Court, Brgy. Poblacion, Cajidiocan, Romblon and Hon. Kenyo Rabino, Municipal Vice Mayor, participated in presenting the civil registry documents to the eight (8) beneficiaries. On 06 February 2025, the awarding took place at Danao National High School, Brgy. Danao, Cajidiocan, Romblon, in which a total of thirty-six (36) BRAP beneficiaries received SECPA Birth Certificates.

Aside from the BRAP beneficiaries, also present during the activity were the Barangay Captains who assisted and joined in the distribution of SECPAs.

The distribution was a success with a total of 44 Birth Certificates awarded to BRAP beneficiaries.

The Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) will continue its commitments to facilitate the registration, ensuring that all Filipino births are registered in the Local Civil Registry Offices.
