ROMBLON, ROMBLON. The Philippine Statistics Authority-Romblon Provincial Statistical Office conducted PhilCRIS Training on 2022 Philippine Standard Occupational Classification (PSOC) Updates among Local Civil Registry Offices on February 15, 2024 at PSA Romblon-Odiongan District Office, 2/F Kadbayan MPC Building, Brgy. Dapawan, Odiongan, Romblon. Twenty-three (23) participants, consisting of Municipal Civil Registrars and LCRO staff, attended the activity.

Chief Statistical Specialist Engr. Johnny F. Solis and Registration Officer I Ms. Maria Cristina M. Uy served as the resource speakers during the activity. An overview of the statistical standards in the Philippines and the Philippine Standard Occupational Classification (PSOC) were covered in their discussions. Further, issues surrounding the use of the Philippine Civil Registration 

Information System (PhilCRIS) were discussed and addressed during the said activity.

The activity was part of the month-long observance of the 34th Civil Registration Month celebration with a theme “CRVS: The Future of Seamless Services”.
