7 FEBRUARY 2025 - CAJIDIOCAN, ROMBLON. On 05 February 2025, Philippine Statistics Authority - Romblon Provincial Statistical Office conducted a Mobile Serbisyo Caravan in Cajidiocan, Romblon in a bid to empower residents with accessible civil registration services as part of the 35th Civil Registration Month celebration with a theme “ Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System”.

The event facilitated requests for civil registry documents, encompassing Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Death Certificates, CENOMAR and CENODEATH and provided consultation on vital document concerns. Moreover, PSA Romblon provided National ID services such as Step-2 registration, ePhillD issuance and assistance in the generation of Digital National ID.

An information dissemination was held to discuss aspects of vital events, especially birth, and updates on the National ID. The activity was attended by barangay captains and secretaries in the municipality of Cajidiocan and Local Civil Registry Office headed by OIC-MCR Ms. Christine Jayne Gutierrez.

The timely and relevant topic of delayed birth registration updates was covered in the presentation of Engr. Johnny F. Solis, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Romblon. He presented the requirements and processes involved and outlined the guidelines for delayed registration of birth.

Meanwhile, updates on National ID operations were presented by Registration Officer I Engr. Mariel V. Fallarcuna. She provided answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about National ID and informed the participants regarding the availability of demographic information updating services on PhilID cards.

Further, through the joint efforts of PSA Romblon and the Local Government of Cajidiocan, a successful awarding of free SECPA Birth Certificates to 8 Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) beneficiaries was conducted. Hon. Kenyo Rabino, Municipal Vice Mayor, participated in presenting the civil registry documents to the beneficiaries.

PSA Romblon also distributed IEC materials including civil registry and PhilSys leaflets to provide important information to the participants.

PSA-Romblon remains committed to bringing essential services closer to the community, particularly to those in remote areas. This initiative reinforces the PSA's mission to enhance access to civil registry services and National ID for all citizens.
