21 FEBRUARY 2025 – ODIONGAN, ROMBLON. In line with its commitment to providing an inclusive identification system for all Filipino citizens and resident aliens, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Romblon conducted National ID services for the residents of Brgy. Tumingad, Odiongan, Romblon on February 18-19, 2025. This initiative aimed to increase accessibility to government services through the National ID system.
The services offered included Step 2 Registration, Rehistro Bulilit, issuance of ePhilIDs (or national IDs in paper form), TRN retrieval, and the utilization of the "Where is My National ID" (WIMNID) service.

National ID Registration Services provided to the people of Barangay Tuburan in Odiongan, Romblon.
The Step 2 Registration focused on reaching individuals in the area who had not yet completed their registration. Rehistro Bulilit, which encouraged parents to register children aged 0-4 years old, was also emphasized. Registration for children was contingent on the parent or guardian being registered and in possession of their own National ID. Those who had already registered but had not yet received their valid IDs were given the opportunity to receive their ePhilID or retrieve their transaction reference numbers for verification. A total of 79 individuals were successfully registered, including 24 children aged 0-4 years. Additionally, 40 clients sought ePhilID issuance, with nine receiving their IDs on-site.
Along with the registration services, an information dissemination session was held to educate residents about the National ID system and the benefits of registration. A total of 252 leaflets, containing information on the National ID and its benefits, were distributed to participants.
This initiative was made possible through the collaboration of barangay officials and Child Development Workers (CDWs). The National ID registration process continues across various barangays in the province of Romblon, ensuring broader participation and access to essential services.
