On 09-10 March 2024 Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Service Office MIMAROPA participated in the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair held at Oriental Mindoro National High School (OMNHS). As part of this initiative, PSA RSSO MIMAROPA awarded free COLBs in SECPAs to the BRAP beneficiaries to ensure that every Filipino has access to this essential document that plays crucial role for accessing various government services and opportunities.

BRAP is a project being implemented by PSA in collaboration with the Local Government Units which aims to provide support to individuals that have difficulties in registering their births to increase civil registration in marginalized communities, particularly those belonging to the Indigenous Peoples (IP), Muslim Filipinos, and the poorest sector.

During the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, PSA RSSO MIMAROPA awarded five  COLBs in SECPAs to the BRAP beneficiaries. By awarding these certificates, the PSA  not only recognizes the beneficiaries but also ensures the importance of birth registration in establishing one's legal identity.
