03 February 2025 – Nuciti Central Calapan, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. With the theme "Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-Fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System (CRVS)," the Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) MIMAROPA kicked off the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM).

The event began with a motorcade that started from the vicinity of Nuciti Central Calapan, proceeded along C5 Road, passed through Guinobatan, and then returned to Nuciti Central Calapan. The activity started with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially opening the Civil Registration Exhibit. The exhibit featured informative displays and materials, providing a comprehensive overview of the importance of civil registration in the community.

Following the opening ceremony, a short yet impactful program took place. Hon. Marilou F. Morillo, City Mayor of Calapan, served as the keynote speaker. In her message, Mayor Morillo emphasized the importance of registering vital events. She also expressed her gratitude for the support of PSA MIMAROPA in their initiatives. Moreover, RD Wong of Commission on Population and Development MIMAROPA delivered a message highlighting how crucial it is to register vital events. Furthermore, RD Leni R. Rioflorido expressed her gratitude to everyone for their continued support for the PSA MIMAROPA's initiatives.

The 35th CRM Opening Ceremony successfully brought together stakeholders from various sectors to promote a unified understanding of the importance of CRVS. The collaborative efforts of government agencies, private sectors, and educational institutions underscored the commitment to building a seamless and efficient civil registration system for the future.
