Being the regional counterpart of the PSA Board, Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) provides direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities in support of the decentralization thrust of the government. Hence, RSC MIMAROPA conducted the Training on Parliamentary Procedure for RSC Members in Support of Statistical Advocacies last 19 June 2025 via Zoom, with a total of 61 participants, 16 out 31 RSC member agencies or 52 percent participation rate.

Atty. Petrovich B. Tamag, Regional Legal Officer and Ms. Chelsea Coleen V. Tamayo, Local Government Operations Officer V, both from DILG MIMAROPA served as the Resource Speakers.

Dr. Agustin C. Mendoza, RSC Chairperson and Regional Director of DEPDev MIMAROPA and Dir. Leni R. Rioflorido, RSC Vice-Chairperson and Regional Director of PSA MIMAROPA graced the said training on giving their messages during the activity.

The training was successfully conducted with very interactive participation and discussions from the participants. The knowledge and skills gained during the training will undoubtedly enhance their ability in decision-making skills effectively and efficiently, while ensuring fairness for the minority and granting each member or delegate the right to voice their opinion.
