21 March 2025 - LOOC, ROMBLON. The Philippine Statistics Authority-Romblon awarded free Certificates of Live Birth (COLB) in Security Paper (SECPA) to Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP) beneficiaries in the municipality of Looc, Romblon last 20 March 2025.

The initiative underscores the intensification of birth registration efforts among the marginalized population. BRAP follows the principal objective of inclusive and people-centered civil registration by “Getting every Pinoy and Pinay in the Picture.”

The ceremony was facilitated by Municipal Mayor Hon. Atty. Lisette Arboleda, OIC-Municipal Civil Registrar Ms. May Noval, together with Chief Statistical Specialist Engr. Johnny F. Solis and Registration Officer I Engr. Mariel V. Fallarcuna of PSA-Romblon.

In total, thirty-three (33) BRAP beneficiaries received free SECPA Birth Certificates.
The beneficiaries from Looc which received their COLBs, expressed their gratitude to the implementation of the project. By this activity, recipients do not need to go to CRS-Odiongan Outlet spending their resources, time and effort to get their PSA authenticated certificates.

The successful issuance of SECPA birth certificates is a sign that BRAP between PSA and LGUs is being implemented effectively and efficiently.
