
06 MAY 2025 – MENDEZ, MOGPOG, MARINDUQUE. On 06 May 2025, PSA PSO Marinduque, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Mogpog and through the initiative of the Mogpog Local Civil Registy Office (LCRO), successfully conducted a Mobile Registration Services in Barangay Mendez, Mogpog, Marinduque.
The event took place at the barangay covered court, providing residents with convenient access to vital registration services.
Prior to the start of the registration, Mogpog Municipal Civil Registrar Virginia M. Sartillo conducted an informative session on Civil Registration Laws, where she discussed key topics and addressed various concerns raised by clients regarding civil registry matters. Supporting her, Birth Registration Coordinator Shiela Mae Matining provided a detailed explanation of the documentation requirements and procedures for delayed registration under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP).
Furthermore, Assistant Registration Officer I Timothy Dequito informed residents about the process of requesting PSA-issued civil registry documents, including applicable fees, through the Mogpog Batch Request System (BREQS). Additionally, Information Systems Analyst I Jhon Mar Nambio was present to provide a detailed orientation on the National ID system. He assisted registrants and emphasized the importance of National ID registration for both adults and children who had not yet enrolled in the system.
During the activity, six registrants successfully completed the requirements for delayed registration, with their Certificates of Live Birth (COLBs) prepared and processed on-site. The team also identified several new potential BRAP beneficiaries, who will undergo verification through the PSA database to confirm their eligibility. Moreover, the Mobile Registration Services facilitated the acceptance of requests for civil registry documents through the Mogpog Batch Request System (BREQS), further enhancing service delivery at the local level.
The success of this mobile registration event highlighted the continued partnership between PSA, LGU Mogpog, and other key stakeholders, ensuring that more residents have access to crucial civil registration services and the National ID system. This collaborative effort not only supports the local community but also helps strengthen the government’s commitment to improving access to vital services.
