26 JUNE 2025 – MASALUKOT, SANTA CRUZ, MARINDUQUE. On 26 June 2025, the PSA Marinduque PSO, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Santa Cruz and the LCRO of Santa Cruz, successfully conducted Mobile Registration Services in Barangay Masalukot, Santa Cruz, Marinduque. The event was held at the barangay’s covered court, ensuring convenient access for residents.
Birth Registration Coordinator (BRC) Shiela Mae Matining, Santa Cruz LCRO staff Crisilda Quindoza, and PSA National ID Registration Team visited the barangay to assist individuals whose births are not yet recorded in the PSA database. The National ID team also facilitated registration for residents who had not yet enrolled in the National ID system and provided assistance in printing paper-based National IDs.
During the activity, the team successfully processed and prepared Certificates of Live Birth (COLBs) for 23 registrants who completed the necessary requirements for delayed registration. Some applications will undergo re-verification due to inconsistencies found in the submitted supporting documents. Additionally, the team identified several potential beneficiaries for the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP), who will undergo further validation in the PSA database to confirm eligibility.
The success of this mobile registration event highlighted the continued partnership between PSA, LGU Santa Cruz, and other key stakeholders, ensuring that more residents have access to crucial civil registration services and the National ID system. This collaborative effort not only supports the local community but also helps strengthen the government’s commitment to improving access to vital services.
