07 July 2025 – CALAPAN CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) RSSO MIMAROPA announces the conduct of the July 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) and 2025 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES).

The LFS is a vital instrument in assessing the current state of the Philippine labor market. Conducted on a monthly and quarterly basis, the LFS gathers comprehensive data from households nationwide. This information enables the estimation of key national and regional employment indicators, which are essential for informing policymakers and stakeholders.

Moreover, the 2025 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) is a rider survey to the July 2025 and January 2026 rounds of the LFS. The FIES, conducted in two visits, is the country’s main source of data on family income, sources of income, family expenditure including cost and consumption volume. These data are used in determining the income distribution, levels of living, spending patterns, and the degree of income inequality among Filipino families. Furthermore, the information gathered through the FIES serves as a critical input for the development of government policies and programs aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of the Filipino people.

The face-to-face interview using computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI) will be conducted for July 2025 LFS-2025 FIES Visit 1. The field data collection will be undertaken from 08 to 31 July 2025.

In this regard, PSA MIMAROPA enjoins sampled households to support the July 2025 LFS-2025 FIES Visit 1 by providing truthful and complete answers to our statistical inquiries.
