04 March 2025, CALAPAN CITY – The Consumer Expectations Survey (CES) is a household-based survey that evaluates consumers' perceptions of their family income, financial situation, and the country's overall economic condition. Conducted at the household level using a stratified multi-stage random sampling method, the survey covers approximately 5,000 households. Its primary goal is to provide timely and regular insights into consumers' financial well-being and their views on the national economy.
The January 2025 CES will be conducted in collaboration with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and will cover three provinces in the region: Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, and Palawan. Data collection is scheduled from 07-19 March 2025.
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) remains committed to delivering accurate and reliable statistics. The agency encourages the public, especially selected households, to actively participate in its various censuses and surveys.
All information collected from households or individuals during the CES is kept in strict confidentiality in accordance with Republic Act (RA) No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), Section 26 of RA No. 10625 (Philippine Statistical Act of 2013 - Confidentiality of Information), and Section 27 of RA No. 10625 (Penalties).
