24 JANUARY 2025 – MALIBAGO, TORRIJOS, MARINDUQUE. On 24 January 2025, PSA PSO Marinduque, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Torrijos and through the initiative of the Torrijos Local Civil Registrar’s Office (LCRO), successfully conducted a Mobile Registration Services event in Barangay Malibago, Torrijos, Marinduque. The event was held at the barangay's covered court, providing convenient access for residents.

Before the registration process began, Torrijos MCR Ronan L. Regio offered an informative session on Civil Registration Laws, addressing important topics and answering questions from clients about civil registry concerns. BRC Shiela Mae Matining also explained the necessary documentation and procedures for delayed registrations through the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP).

In addition, the Philsys Registration Team was present to provide detailed information about the National ID system and assist with the registrations. They explained the importance of the ID and the registration process for both individuals and children who had not yet enrolled in the system.

Throughout the event, the team successfully processed and prepared the Certificates of Live Birth (COLBs) of seven registrants who completed the requirements for delayed registration. The event also identified several new potential beneficiaries who will undergo further verification in the PSA database to ensure their eligibility for BRAP. Additionally, the Mobile Registration Services allowed the LGU to accept requests for PSA civil registry documents through the Torrijos BREQS system.

The success of this mobile registration event highlighted the continued partnership between PSA, LGU Torrijos, and other key stakeholders, ensuring that more residents have access to crucial civil registration services and the National ID system. This collaborative effort not only supports the local community but also helps strengthen the government’s commitment to improving access to vital services.
