7 April 2025 - ROMBLON, ROMBLON. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Romblon Provincial Statistical Office is currently conducting the First Quarter 2025 Commodity Flow Survey (CFS) to twelve (12) sample establishments in the province.

The CFS is a survey undertaken by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) that aims to gather quarterly information on the movement of commodities from one province to another via road transport, covering establishments in agriculture, forestry, fishing, mining, manufacturing, and wholesale trade.

Data collection at DES Marketing Inc., Looc, Romblon and Faa’s Trading in Odiongan, Romblon.

In the province of Romblon, one (1) Statistical Researcher was involved in the data collection from 07 to 24 April 2025 in selected municipalities. The trained Statistical Researcher uses a Paper-and-Pen Interview (PAPI) data collection system to eligible respondents located at the municipalities of Alcantara, Looc, Odiongan and Romblon.

As PSA Romblon continues to deliver relevant and reliable statistics necessary for policy formulation, it enjoins the support of the public, especially the sample households, by providing the required information to authorized PSA field personnel during interviews. All information obtained from this survey will be kept strictly confidential as stipulated in Section 26 of RA 10625 (Confidentiality of Information) and Section 8 of RA 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Confidentiality) and will not be used for taxation, investigation, or law enforcement purposes.
