30 JANUARY 2025 - ROMBLON, ROMBLON. The Philippine Statistics Authority Romblon Provincial Statistical Office will kick off the observance of the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) to be participated in by national and provincial government offices, Local and Barangay Local Government Units, Local Civil Registry Offices, partner agencies and stakeholders on 04 February 2025 at Ramon Magsaysay Park, Brgy. Capaclan, Romblon, Romblon.

The activity will start thru a motorcade around the town at 7 o’clock in the morning, to be followed by an opening ceremony where various services from PSA will be offered. These services include PSA Says, exhibits, games, awarding of PSA birth certificates to BRAP beneficiaries, and distribution of free PSA birth certificates to selected day care pupils.

On its 35th-year celebration, this year’s CRM has the theme “Building a Resilient, Agile and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System”. The annual observance of CRM is pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 “Declaring the Month of February of Every Year as Civil Registration Month” issued by then President Corazon C. Aquino dated January 28, 1991. 
Everyone is invited to participate in this activity that is aimed at reminding every Filipino of our duty to register vital events in their life.
