13 February 2025, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro. In line with the month-long celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) with the theme “Building Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System,” the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Occidental Mindoro Provincial Statistical Office successfully conducted a Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Quiz Bee among the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) Personnel of Occidental Mindoro—Provincial Elimination.

A total of ten (10) participants participated. This competition aimed to raise responsiveness and progress their understanding of the significance of CRVS. It also includes situational questions on various queries and problems affecting the public in terms of obtaining civil registry documents.

At the end, Ms. Nemi S. Bandong from LCRO San Jose got a total of 62 points and was declared the champion, followed by Ms. Jennifer B. Ramos of LCRO Mamburao with a total of 56 points, and Engr. Ronald A. Reyes of LCRO San Jose got 42 points. The three winners will be the province representatives in the upcoming regional finals.
