17 May 2024, ROMBLON, ROMBLON. Philippine Statistics Authority-Romblon Provincial Statistical Office conducted the Municipal Level Training on the Adoption of the Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC) and Coordination Batch 1 at the Looc Municipal Function Hall, Barangay Poblacion, Looc, Romblon on May 16, 2024.

It was participated by Business Permits and Licensing Officers (BPLOs), Municipal Treasurers and staffs from local government units of Alcantara, Looc, Santa Maria, San Agustin, Santa Fe and San Jose.
Municipal Mayor of Looc, Hon. Lisette M. Arboleda, graced the activity and gave her opening message expressing support to this undertaking.
Engr. Dandy H. Fetalvero, Supervising Statistical Specialist, and Engr. Jane G. Rotoni, Provincial Product Accounts Statistical Analyst, served as the resource persons of the activity.
The objective of the conduct of the municipal-level training and coordination is in line with capacitating and strengthening of LGU’s knowledge in using PSIC as well as ensuring uniformity and comparability of data produced which will be used as aggregated data useful for local planners and policy makers.
