28 May 2024, ROMBLON, ROMBLON. Philippine Statistics Authority Romblon Provincial Statistical Office conducted meeting with LGU Corcuera officials to further publicize information regarding the Philippine Identification System operations. PSA-Romblon conducted PhilSys information dissemination at the Conference Hall of Corcuera, Romblon last on May 24, 2024. The presentation covers the following subjects: Step 2 Registration, ePhilID issuance; and FAQs concerning PhilSys.

Both the ePhilID and the physical ID card, as illustrated by Ms. Hannah Joy Fabello, PhilSys Stat/Admin Clerk, have the same validity, and serve similar purposes. The PhilSys Check website was also introduced to verify individuals’ identities by scanning the data stored in the QR code; flyers were also distributed as supplements.

Present at the activity were the employees and key officials from different agencies and offices of the local government unit of Corcuera led by Mayor Elmer Fruelda.

Meanwhile, one (1) fixed registration center in Odiongan and four (4) PhilSys registration teams in the province of Romblon are in continuous operation for Step 2 registration, with the collective objective of having every Filipino citizen in the province to be PhilSys registered and own their "pambansang pagkakalinlan," or Philippine identification.
