To present the January 2024 inflation report of Marinduque, the PSA-Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) held a press conference on 15 February 2024, at the Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office, Boac, Marinduque.  

Ms. Gemma N. Opis, Chief Statistical Specialist, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the provincial inflation report, elucidating the specific commodity groupings influencing price fluctuations and highlighting key factors contributing to the province's inflation rate. Subsequently, attendees engaged in an interactive session, posing questions to clarify the presented information. 

The press conference received support from various provincial departments in the province, including DILG-Marinduque, Provincial Budget Office, Marinduque Provincial Agriculture Office, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agrarian Reform, Philippine Information Agency, Philippine National Police, Radio Nation FM Boac and Marinduque Provincial Engineers Office. 

The press conference was livestreamed on the official Facebook pages of PSA Marinduque PSO and Marinduque News Network.
