11 July 2025 – SAN VICENTE, PALAWAN. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Palawan took part in the "Kasalang Bayan sa Malagnang" held last June 20, 2025 at the Municipal Covered Gym, Poblacion, San Vicente, Palawan. The mass wedding was spearheaded by the Local Civil Registry Office headed by Municipal Civil Registrar Lucille C. Laong, with the support and assistance provided by Honorable Mayor Amy Roa Alvarez, who also served as the solemnizing officer during the ceremony.

Ms. Donna Marie D. Mobe, Officer-in-Charge of PSA Palawan, was invited as one of the Guest Speakers and delivered a meaningful message highlighting the importance of timely and accurate registration of marriages. She encouraged the newlywed couples to ensure their union is legally recognized through proper documentation with the Civil Registry.

As part of PSA's ongoing advocacy on civil registration awareness, Assistant Birth Registration Coordinator Ana Rose Buaya distributed brochures on Civil Registration. This aims to help the public better understand the importance of registering vital events like birth, marriage, and death.
