She is a native of Torrijos, Marinduque, where she was born and completed her elementary and high school education with honors. She pursued higher education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, earning a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, and later obtained her Master's in Public Administration from Marinduque State College. She rose from the ranks and become the current Regional Director of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) MIMAROPA.

During her tenure as the Provincial Statistics Officer at the former National Statistics Office (NSO) Marinduque Provincial Office in 2006 and as she continues her role as the Regional Director of the PSA MIMAROPA, she has consistently been in the spotlight during the Annual PSA Field Awards, earning top awards in various categories and bringing pride to the MIMAROPA region. In her earlier years at NSO Marinduque, she was recognized as Most Outstanding Fieldman of 1993 both at the national and the regional levels, 1994 Outstanding Employee of Marinduque, and the 2005 Most Outstanding Statistical Coordination Officer of the Region.

In addition, on March 29, 2022, she was recognized as one of the Natatanging Marinduqueña given by Marinduque State College and the Chairperson of the Philippine Commission on Women as part of the 2022 Women’s Month Celebration. Recently, she was elected as the President of OMPSA Alumni Association, her alma mater.
