08 April 2025 – CALAPAN CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) MIMAROPA announces the conduct of the April 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) with rider questions on Tourism Employment.

The LFS is a nationwide survey of households conducted by the PSA to gather data on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population. Data from the survey provides information on major labor market trends such as labor force participation and unemployment rates, hours worked, past industries and occupations of the currently unemployed persons.

In this round, questions on tourism employment are included which aims to expand information gathered on tourism employment as reported to the Philippine Tourism Satellite Account.

The face-to-face interview using computer-assisted personal interview technique will be utilized. The field data collection will be undertaken from 08 to 30 April 2025.

In this regard, PSA RSSO MIMAROPA enjoins sampled households to support the April 2025 LFS by providing truthful and complete answers to our statistical inquiries or surveys.
