24 JUNE 2024 – PUTING BUHANGIN, MOGPOG, MARINDUQUE. On 24 June 2024, PSA-Marinduque PSO, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Mogpog, actively participated in conducting Mobile Registration Services in Barangay Puting Buhangin, Mogpog, Marinduque. This mobile registration initiative took place at the Barangay Hall.

BRC Shiela Mae Matining, along with Mogpog LCRO staff Hannah Ditan and Leandra Jardeleza, facilitated the registration of individuals without birth certificates. Additionally, the team assisted constituents in requesting PSA copies of civil registry documents through Mogpog BREQS.

Prior to the registration process, Mogpog LCRO staff Ditan provided information on Civil Registration Laws and addressed client inquiries related to civil registry matters. Meanwhile, BRC Matining briefly explained the procedures for delayed registration under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP).

BRAP aims to ensure that all Filipino births are registered in the Local Civil Registry Offices and that individuals are enrolled in the PhilSys National Identification System.
