07 June 2024 – Calapan City - The Philippine Statistics Authority MIMAROPA conducted a PhilSys Information Dissemination held on 05 June 2024 showcasing its commitment to providing efficient and accessible services to the IMAMs and other Muslims Community Leaders.

Along with the presentation of Administrative Order No 1. Series of 2005, PhilSys Information Dissemination was conducted. Statistical Specialist II Emerson V. Caisip started his presentation by providing an in-depth introduction to PhilSys. SS II Caisip explained the crucial role of PhilSys in the government's efforts to improve the delivery of public services, enhance social and financial inclusion, and strengthen security and identity verification. The participants were able to understand the broader implications and benefits of PhilSys.

Furthermore, SS II Caisip provided updates on PhilSys and mentioned the number of registrations in MIMAROPA as of 31 May 2024. SS II Caisip, also mentioned the newly issued memo from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, implying the prioritization of PhilID in the list of acceptable identification documents. Moreover, SS II Casip reiterated the use of Philsys Check to verify the authenticity of the PhilID/ePhilID.

Following the discussion, an Audio-Visual Presentation of Philsys Check was presented, and attendees were encouraged to appreciate the significance of this innovation. The session concluded with an open forum.
