PSA Oriental Mindoro launches the "Rehistro Bulilit" National ID Registration in Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro

30 October 2024 – BULALACAO, ORIENTAL MINDORO. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) of Oriental Mindoro successfully launched the “Rehistro Bulilit” National ID Registration in the municipality of Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro. This campaign seeks to enhance accessibility to the National ID System for children and advocate for an inclusive identification system for all Filipinos. This is also an initiative of PSA to encourage parents/guardians to register their children with the National ID System. 

During the event, the team organized fun activities and distributed snacks and makeshift tokens to children to guarantee a smooth registration procedure. Information dissemination of relevant updates regarding the National ID System was also conducted. Aside from the registration of children aged one to four years old, the team also accepted registration applications from individuals aged 5 years old and above. In addition to providing registration services, the National ID team also assisted clients in generating their digital National ID and accepted requests for issuance of National ID printed on paper as well as the retrieval of their transaction reference numbers.

PSA was able to register 55 individuals at the aforementioned activity, with 29 of them belonging to ages of one to four.

Additionally, in an attempt to improve the National ID registration, PSA Oriental Mindoro consistently runs mobile registration, National ID registration on wheels, and school mobile registration. PSA also participates in meetings, caravans, and information-gathering events in several municipalities in Oriental Mindoro to inform Mindoreños about the current National ID Registration and the benefits it offers.
