28 October 2024 – BUENAVISTA, MARINDUQUE. In its ongoing efforts to promote early access to the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) recently advanced its “Rehistro Bulilit” campaign in the Municipality of Buenavista. This effort successfully registered 54 individuals, including 49 children aged 1 to 4 years, into the National ID system. This achievement represents a significant milestone in PSA Marinduque's dedication to making the National ID accessible to the youngest members of the community, thereby ensuring that even at an early age, individuals can engage with this inclusive identification system.
The event transcended a typical registration process, evolving into an engaging and educational experience for children and their families. PSA Marinduque established a welcoming, child-friendly atmosphere that enhanced the enjoyment and informativeness of the entire experience. The program included interactive elements such as storytelling sessions that captivated young attendees with engaging narratives, along with hands-on coloring activities that encouraged creativity. Each child received a party hat and a token as a keepsake, adding a festive touch that made the event particularly memorable for all participants.
Parents also participated in an informative session conducted by Information Officer I Danica J. Gamara, who highlighted the significance and future benefits of the National ID. During this session, parents learned how the PhilSys ID could facilitate their children’s access to essential services over time, including social services, education, and financial opportunities.
The “Rehistro Bulilit” campaign is part of the PSA’s broader vision of advancing data and statistics through digital transformation, aligning with the goal of making essential identification accessible to all Filipinos. This initiative reflects PSA Marinduque’s commitment to building a more inclusive society by making the National ID available to individuals of all ages, thereby ensuring that every Filipino has a secure and reliable identity.
As PSA Marinduque continues to promote National ID registration for children across municipalities, it reinforces its dedication to a digitally empowered community. The PSA encourages parents and guardians to participate in upcoming registration events, ensuring that every child in the community benefits from the opportunity to establish a national identity early in life.
Looking ahead, the PSA Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office is excited to bring the “Rehistro Bulilit” campaign to more municipalities in the coming months. Through continued outreach and community-focused events, PSA Marinduque is laying a strong foundation for the next generation, fostering an environment where every child can thrive with the support of a national identification system.
