PSA Oriental Mindoro joins Serbisyong TAMA Program para sa Barangay

05 NOVEMBER 2024. CALAPAN CITY, ORIENTAL MINDORO. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Oriental Mindoro joins the City Government of Calapan’s Serbisyong TAMA Program para sa Barangay on 05 November 2024 at Barangay Batino. Different agencies from Local and National Government participated to the program to bring their services closer to the public.

As one of the participating agencies, the PSA PSO of Oriental Mindoro brings the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) to the barangay. One of the main objective of BRAP is to ensure that all births of Filipinos are registered in the Local Civil Registry Offices and likewise to increase the level of civil registration specially in marginalized communities such as those belonging to the Indigenous People, Muslim Filipinos and the poorest sector in the country and ensuring that they have their National ID issued which is a gateway for them to claim their social benefits and legal identity.
