22 JANUARY 2025 – ROMBLON, ROMBLON. In line with its mission to provide accessible and efficient civil registration services, the Philippine Statistics Authority-Romblon conducted a mobile acceptance of requests on civil registration documents at the Special Needs Education (SNED) Center of Romblon East Central School on 21 January 2025.

PSA Romblon personnel assist parents of SNED learners in accomplishing properly the application forms for civil registry document requests at RECS.

The event catered twenty-one (21) requests for civil registration documents like Birth Certificates, ensuring that individuals, particularly SNED learners, could secure the necessary document for their needs. Additionally, PSA personnel distributed informational leaflets about the Civil Registration services and the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). These materials aimed to educate the public on the importance of civil registration and the benefits of the national ID system. The PSA team also addressed various queries regarding National ID and facilitated requests for ePhilID issuance.

This effort underscores the PSA's commitment to promote inclusivity, particularly for our SNED learners who require secured copy of their birth certificates to participate in the upcoming provincial athletic meet. Through initiative like this, the PSA continues to demonstrate its dedication to ensure that no one is left behind in accessing essential government services.
