7 FEBRUARY 2025 - CAJIDIOCAN, ROMBLON. Philippine Statistics Authority-Romblon Statistical Office conducted information dissemination for students of Cajidiocan National High School on 06 February 2025 as part of the 35th Civil Registration Month celebration with a theme ““ Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System”.

Engr. Johnny F. Solis, Chief Statistical Specialist, discussed Civil Registration Laws, processes and updates. During his discussion, he presented the background of the civil registration of the Philippines including the laws that has been legislated to address errors in the civil registry documents. Meanwhile, Engr. Mariel V. Fallarcuna, Registration Officer I, gave updates to the attendees about National ID operations.

Following the discussion, PSA Romblon facilitated the game "PSA Says", PSA’s version of Family Feud, with Civil Registration and PhilSys trivia intended to increase awareness of the participants to civil registration processes and National ID. It was participated by four (4) teams, namely: Team Acacia, Team Kalabasa, Team Hauili and Team Platinum, each with 5 selected members. At the end, Team Acacia was hailed champion while Team Kalabasa earned the 2nd spot.

The annual observance of CRM is pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 “Declaring the Month of February of Every Year as Civil Registration Month” issued by then President Corazon C. Aquino dated January 28, 1991.
