“We anticipate that upon successful completion of these trainings, you will possess a comprehensive understanding of all survey concepts, field operations procedures, and the proficient use of CAPI. May these activities empower us to proactively address any issues and concerns that may arise during the survey operations.’’ Regional Director Leni R. Rioflorido emphasized during her welcome remarks.

The RCSS: Commercial and RCSS: Household are designated statistical activities conducted monthly by the PSA pursuant to the Executive Order No. 352, s. 1996. These aim to assess the current rice and corn stocks inventories in the commercial warehouses, wholesalers and retailers, and in the households across the country, respectively. It provides data on stocks inventory on commercial and household sectors at the national level.

On the other hand, the 2025 MPCSRS is a monitoring survey on the growing conditions and actual plantings of palay and corn. It provides monthly updates of the expected productions generated by the quarterly Palay Production Survey, and the Corn Production Survey at the national level.

Data collection phase for these surveys is scheduled every first to fifth day of the survey month, while the results are scheduled to be released on the 15th day after the reference month.
