14 FEBRUARY 2025 – ODIONGAN, ROMBLON. On 14 February 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority-Romblon Provincial Statistical Office commemorated the 2nd anniversary of the Civil Registry System Odiongan Outlet’s establishment as part of the 35th Civil Registration Month celebration with a theme “𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘈𝘨𝘪𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦-𝘧𝘪𝘵 𝘊𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘭 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘝𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴 𝘚𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮”.  

In his message, Chief Statistical Specialist Engr. Johnny F. Solis highlighted the value of efficiency and accessibility in public service, emphasizing how the CRS significantly reduce the waiting time for essential documents. Since its establishment in the province, CSS Solis stated that CRS Odiongan has contributed to Romblomanons' needs for PSA-authenticated civil registry documents, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) and Certificate of No Death (CeNoDeath).

As part of the activity, simple presents were prepared by PSA Romblon for clients who could correctly answer the given trivia questions about civil registration.

Then, CSS Solis, together with Registration Officer II Ms. Ma. Cristina M. Uy and Registration Officer I Engr. Mariel V. Fallarcuna, awarded free civil registry documents to the earliest fifteen clients during the day.

The annual observance of CRM is pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 “Declaring the Month of February of Every Year as Civil Registration Month” issued by then President Corazon C. Aquino dated January 28, 1991.
