
24 February 2025 – BOAC, MARINDUQUE. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) has reinforced its commitment to secure and accurate identity verification by cascading of training session on the validation of supporting documents and IDs for its National ID personnel.
Held at the Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office on 24 February 2025, the training was led by Registration Officer II Jiezle B. Janda and Information Officer I Danica J. Gamara. Participants received specialized instruction on validating various forms of identification, including Civil Registry documents in security paper, National ID, Driver’s License, Philippine Passport, National Police Clearance, NBI clearance, PRC ID, PhilHealth ID, and Tax Identification Card. The session provided hands-on exercises, allowing attendees to closely examine security features, detect potential fraudulent documents, and apply standard verification protocols effectively. Discussions also emphasized the importance of consistency in authentication practices to uphold the integrity of the National ID system.
This initiative is part of PSA’s ongoing efforts to enhance fraud prevention measures and improve the efficiency of National ID services. By equipping National ID personnel with in-depth knowledge and practical skills, PSA aims to ensure a more secure and reliable identification process, ultimately strengthening public trust in the National ID system.
