31 MARCH 2025 – MARINDUQUE PROVINCIAL STATISTICAL OFFICE. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) successfully concluded its observance of the 2025 National Women’s Month with a culminating activity held on March 31, 2025, at the Marinduque Provincial Office. The event, attended by PSA PSO personnel, underscored the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” emphasizing the significant role of women in nation-building and the pursuit of gender equality.

The program commenced with an inspiring message from Chief Statistical Specialist Gemma N. Opis. In her address, CSS Opis reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where women are empowered through equitable opportunities and policies.
An engaging segment titled “Who am I?” featured an interactive game that encouraged participation and strengthened camaraderie among attendees, reinforcing the recognition of women’s invaluable contributions across various fields.

A highlight of the event was the Awarding of Certificates of Recognition, a significant moment that celebrated the exceptional dedication and contributions of women within PSA PSO Marinduque.
Cristel Joy M. Narvas, Admin Aide VI and GAD Focal Person, delivered the closing remarks, emphasizing the agency’s continuous advocacy for gender-responsive policies and initiatives. 

PSA Marinduque’s culminating activity for National Women’s Month reaffirmed the agency’s unwavering support for gender equality and women’s empowerment, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a more inclusive and progressive society.
