08 AUGUST 2025 – BOAC, MARINDUQUE. In celebration of the upcoming 12th Anniversary of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the PSA Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) has officially launched the “Biggest Loser-Gainer Challenge,” a workplace wellness initiative designed to promote healthier lifestyles and encourage camaraderie among employees.

The friendly competition aims to inspire staff to engage in regular exercise, adopt balanced diets, and pursue personal fitness goals. Participants will undergo weekly progress checks every Friday to track improvements in weight loss or muscle gain. Awards will be given to those who achieve the most notable results by the end of the challenge.

Running from 08 August 2025 to 12 September 2025, the program will culminate with the recognition of winners during the 12th PSA Anniversary celebration. The activity is envisioned to strengthen workplace morale, build teamwork, and highlight the importance of maintaining overall well-being while meeting the demands of public service.

Through initiatives such as the “Biggest Loser-Gainer Challenge,”  PSA Marinduque PSO continues to reinforce its commitment to fostering a healthy, motivated, and high-performing workforce dedicated to delivering quality statistical, civil registration and identification services to the people of Marinduque.
