CALL FOR FIELD PERSONNEL APPLICANTS FOR THE COMMUNITY- BASED MONITORING SYSTEM (CBMS) AND 2024 CENSUS OF POPULATION (POPCEN)

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Occidental Mindoro is in need of the following personnel as Contract of Service Worker (COSW) for the conduct of Community-Based Monitoring and 2024 Census of Population (POPCEN) to all municipalities in the province of Occidental Mindoro.

II.    General Qualifications
A.    Census Area Supervisor/Team Supervisor/Enumerators
•    Leadership potential;
•    Alertness and interest;
•    With good written and oral communication skills;
•    With enough familiarity of place of assignment and able to speak the focal dialect;
•    With experience in any census/survey undertakings; and
•    Preferably with supervisory experience in census/survey or similar operation (for CAS/TS).

B.    Minimum Qualifications:
•    At least K-12 Graduate, or have completed 2nd year college (old curriculum); for a K-12 graduate below 17 years old, parental consent is required.
•    Physically fit to do fieldwork (if female, must not be pregnant);
•    Knowledgeable in operating android (tablets);
•    Able to speak local dialects;
•    With the ability to deal with the public tactfully;
•    With good moral character;
•    Willing to be assigned in any barangay within city/municipality;
•    Willing to work on weekends holidays and beyond 5:00 PM if necessary;
•    Does not have any existing work contract with other office/agency; and
•    Not related up to fourth degree consanguinity or affinity of the appointing/recommending officers;
•    Must be a resident to any barangay designated city/municipality.

III.    Deadline of Submission of Application
•    Application will be accepted until 22 May 2024 for Census Area Supervisor and 16 June 2024 for Team Supervisor and Enumerators.
•    Short listed applicants for Census Area Supervisor will have interview on May 24, 2024 at PSO Provincial Office, Brgy. 3, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro.

IV.    Where to File Application
Applicants may file their application through the following options:
•    Submit all requirements personally from Monday to Friday at 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 2nd floor Ramirez-Lopez Condominium, Rizal Street., Brgy. 3, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro
•    Submit via online all requirements in occidentalmindoro@psa.gov.ph.

2.    Two (2) original copies of duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent ID picture taken within three (3) months prior to submission of application(CSC Form No. 212, Revised 2017) duly subscribed and sworn to
before an authorized administering officer with Work Experience Sheet (CSC Form No. 212-as Attachment).
