As part of the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System’s (2024 POPCEN-CBMS) Information, Education, and Communication’s Campaign, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Service Office (RSSO) MIMAROPA announces the conduct of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS Press Launch which will be held on 12 July 2024 at Filipiniana Hotel, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

This July 2024, the PSA will simultaneously start the conduct of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS. As this undertaking would involve everyone across the country, an effective information dissemination strategy is necessary to attain a higher participation rate from the public. Thus, the forthcoming press launch will serve as a platform to provide information about the nationwide conduct of 2024 POPCEN-CBMS, shedding light on its objectives, methodology, and significance.

This will be participated by the members of the Regional Census-CBMS Coordinating Board (RCCS), relevant stakeholders such as the members of the CBMS Council and selected local press/news outlets.
